Alhind Air gears up for a smooth takeoff in 2025

Alhind Air plans to launch its business with just three ATR 72-600 aircraft. These are small planes best suited for short-haul flights. The regional aircraft ensures fast trips with convenience.

The company's ambition will not stop there but will quickly continue developing. By the end of the second year, Alhind Air plans to have seven aeroplanes in its fleet. This number will, therefore, allow the provision of more routes and the meeting of the rising demand for air travel.

Alhind Air specialises primarily in domestic flights in Kerala and its neighbourhood. They will offer services to cities that are hard to reach by road or railway. The following will be the first routes:

Kochi - Thiruvananthapuram

Kochi - Kozhikode

Kochi - Kannur

Kochi - Bengaluru

Kochi - Chennai

These destinations will answer the transportation demand between and within South India's cities. This, in particular, is beneficial to both business travellers and tourists. However, Alhind Air, which initially concentrated only on domestic routes, has developed plans for the next phase, which is flying internationally. Aside from offering flights to the larger communities of the Keralites, its main aim is to be the first airline to run flights from the Gulf to Southeast Asia. Getting approvals is the most essential part of opening an airline. Alhind Air has received the first approvals from the Civil Aviation Ministry in India. The airline is currently undergoing the process of getting its No Objection Certificate (NOC) and Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGCA), which are the next and final steps for the license of operation.

Besides that, the carrier has also brought its office to life within the Cochin International Airport. The airport has accommodated the company's needs by granting office space for the airline to commence business operations effortlessly.
